I was always involved in color guard, show choir, and drama so hair and makeup was always part of the deal. I have also always loved working with different art mediums and i love the science/"nerdy" aspect behind things. After working as a hair model behind the scenes at trade shows, I decided to give cosmetology and nail technology a try and graduated from The Original La'James in 2010. I wound up falling in love with the spa and beauty industry after realizing that it is much more than "just hair" or "just nails". There are so many facets in these industries and I get the privilege to meet and connect with individuals on different levels everyday. I also get to use my brain in many different ways and help the guest in my chair achieve what they are looking for.
