I started practicing yoga in 2007, after taking classes with a great mentor, Stephanie, and I fell in love with the transformation I experienced mentally and physically while raising my children. Yoga taught me things about myself that no other physical form of movement could. That's what led me to complete my 300-hour yoga teacher training and start teaching in 2009. I wanted to share the transformative physical and mental benefits of the practice, to empower others to improve their health, foster healing from the anxiety and stress they carry through their daily life, and help them deepen their own personal practice as I have. My teaching style is grounding and mindful, and I hold a sacred space for students to come into the studio, decompress, heal, and connect with their authentic self. Students can expect intentional, positive energy, a sense of belonging, and safe risk-taking that encourages curiosity and active participation. My hope is that you leave feeling seen, heard, empowered, confident, safe, supported, and even curious, and that this becomes a practice you keep coming back to.
