I started practicing yoga in 1994, searching for balance and wanting to learn more about the mind-body-spirit connection. I began teaching in 2007, earning my 200-hour certification along with additional training in meditation, breathwork, and anatomy, because I wanted to share my passion for yoga and help people find their own path to deepening their practice. My teaching style is breath and core focused, uplifting, and intentional, and you can expect a great playlist along with a class that meets you exactly where you're at in that moment. For me, yoga isn't just a practice, it's a lifestyle, and I use the 8 limbs of yoga as a framework for my day to day life. I love seeing students feel something in their body or mind that they've never experienced before, and my hope is that you tune into what you need in class so the rest of your day is rooted in being present, patient, and mindful.
